I've just finished reading your fantastic book. I enjoyed
every minute of it. In fact I'm trying to think who else I
can buy it for this Christmas.
It helped me to understand some of those crazy Swiss quirks a little
more and realise that some of the things I've had to deal with are not
personal they are just the Swiss way!!
started reading your
book on Saturday and finished it on Sunday. I enjoyed it from
page 1 to page 171. It is really funny and at the same time I learnt a
YOU for this
wonderful book.I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
Thank you!!!!!!! I read your book in one go
I loved it!!!!
Same experiences as you
let my friends know to read the book.
I thought it was a really fun read. After living in Geneva for several
years I can relate to some of the experiences in the book. It
was definitely fun to hear that I was not the only one who has had some
of the "Swiss" experiences. Definitely
worth checking out.
I just wanted to let you know that I sat down with your book this
evening and read it all the way through! There is so much in
it that is very easy to relate to...I laughed out loud more than a few
times. Many of your experiences mirror ours. I made
my husband read the "Survival Guide" at the end and he commented that
you "nailed it." There are so many strange 'quirks' about the
Swiss that you can only appreciate if you are a foreigner.
Thank you for sharing your writing with
the expat population here in Geneva--it was a pleasure to read...an
enjoyable evening escape!
First of all, I never finish a book. I
finished yours in less than 48 hours (Saturday/Sunday).
The timing was perfect because I just
had my first "Swiss" experience on Friday.
Reading your book helped me not take it
